Emma Diane

On Wednesday at 5:34 pm, we finally were able to meet our newest family member, Emma Diane. Both Mom and baby were great during the c-section and everyone came out healthy and happy! Unfortunately, Dad didn't come out quite so great, but that's a whole different story.

Emma is a family name on both sides that we loved. June 27th also happens to be the feast of St. Emma. She is also named after her MeeMaw, Diane.

She looks a lot like Zoe, but seems to have more Shaffer in her personality thus far (thankfully for everyone involved). She's a snuggler like her big sister and loves to sleep. Her big sister couldn't be more excited! She's not far away at any minute and keeps talking about litter sister. 

Stat line: 6lbs 10oz, 19in. Dark eyes, dark hair.
