Teething & Sleeping

Zoe's first tooth cut through when she was 4 months. Her top 4 finally cut this past week. She has been working on them for the past 2.5 months!

Of course, Mom and Dad decided it would be a grand idea to start her sleep training one night a few weeks back when she was up screaming every other hour throughout the night. So we finally started letting her cry it out. The next morning, 2 little white dots were poking her upper gums.

We forged ahead figuring there would always be an excuse to put off sleep training. Things are going fairly well. She gets herself to sleep within 10 minutes most days for all her naps. Nighttime is a bit harder, but she's still able to calm herself to sleep without too much pain on Mom and Dad. The worst part is going in to pat her back...she SCREAMS her little head off wondering why we haven't picked her up...so sad! But hey, it's better than the alternative solution we deem the 'Amanda Solution' (you won't find it in any books). :)
